From the moment she first picked up a camera at the age of 9 she was hooked, and went on to major in photography for her HSC. Then while completing 4 years of formal studies at the Sydney Institute of Photography, Angela's work grew in demand which led her to establish her first photography business at just 19 years of age.
Working with film - and developing in a darkroom - Angela built a successful business photographing weddings and portfolios, children & newborns, along with events and portraits for both corporate & private clients.
In 2001 she took some time off to start a family, only doing the occasional shoot on film for her favourite clients. These years were probably the most crucial for the photographic industry as it moved away from film & into the digital era.
Upon re-entering the industry, Angela retrained herself in the digital medium and loves the flexibility and immediacy of digital photography. Angela continues to learn, experiment, create and absorb as technology evolves, but still has film in her fridge and her first professional film camera, a Canon EOS 3 which she uses on the odd shoot.
Angela is now focused on creating professional and personal portraits & headshots. Children & newborns. Boutique Weddings. Shooting ethical news & current affairs. Events along with product photography, website & social media content & stylising, often supporting new & sustainable businesses. And with a passion for fine art, also creates photographic artworks for businesses & private homes.
Proficient at working to briefs, Angela is known for delivering quality work at a competitive price. Her passions are photographing people in natural light & macro photography. Her work is diverse, timeless & speaks for itself.
Angela has over 20 years experience doing what she loves.
