Hi! I’m Ange

Welcome to Angie Lou Photography! I’m the photographer behind the lens.

When I was nine I found a Halina film camera (pictured) in my folks bedroom draw. I was hooked, so decided to never put the camera back where I found it, & still have it in my collection today.

Years later I majored in photography for my HSC & my portfolio lead me to be accepted into the Sydney Institute of Photography. While still a student, interest in my work grew, so I start my first photography business - Angela Nicholson Photography - in 1995 when I was 19, back in the day of film.

Through word of mouth, as the demand increased for my portrait & lifestyle photography of newborns, children & families, ‘Angie Lou’ was created in addition to my first photography business.
